Adam Saunders

Adam Saunders studied at the Royal Academy of Music and London University, winning several prizes for composition. Since leaving, he has established a career composing music for the concert hall and for worldwide film and television. In addition to a two-year period as composer-in-residence with Sinfonia Viva, Adam has had his works performed and recorded by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, Hallé Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra, London Mozart Players, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Royal Ballet Sinfonia, City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus, Bulgarian Film Orchestra and Chorus, Odense Symphony Orchestra, RTE Concert Orchestra, Washington Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of the Renaissance, London Telefilmonic Orchestra and the Brighton Festival Chorus, amongst others. Adam’s music has also been performed and recorded by classical artists including soprano Lesley Garrett and the Delmé String Quartet.
Screen productions to use Adam’s music include Bride Wars (feature film), 17 Again (feature Film), the Sopranos, CSI:NY, Desperate Housewives, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Smallville (Superman the Early Years), Angel, Good Morning America, ITN News, Sky News, American Idol, Beverley Hills 90210, Top Gear, The Apprentice, Hawaii Five-0, True Blood and Mad Men, amongst hundreds of others.
He has also written the music for numerous advertising campaigns for leading worldwide brands including Strongbow, Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Hershey, Taco Bell and Stella Artois.
